HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

The purpose of this programme is to enable learners who have completed the Certificate Level to gain depth knowledge of the Human Resource Management (HRM) field. The role of HR Managers is vitally important in an organisation therefore learners are trained to be competent in the application of theories, principles and concepts in their day to day work in Human Resource environment of an organisation.

Learners become familiar with the Employment Equity Act, The Labour Relations Act and an understanding of their constitutional rights as employees. This programme is also considered as a social development Programme as learners gain an in-depth insight of Human Resource Management and able to give advice to friends and families. HR Managers roles are crucial for the success of an organisation which in turn enhances the economy of the country.

    TYPE OF PROGRAMME

    The programme duration is 3 years on a full-time basis, or 4 years on a part-time basis. Tuition is face to face and is scheduled per campus. Programmes are offered during the week on a full-time and part-time basis. Part-time tuition is scheduled as per the stipulated planner.


    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    • A Grade 12 Certificate with admission to diploma studies.
    • An NQF level 4 qualification or equivalent
    • Prior learning is taken into consideration on the merit of each learner and the unique circumstances of each learner.

     LEARNER MATERIAL

    Prescribed textbook lists will be provided by the academic department at AFRICA FET COLLEGE. Students will have to buy  the study materials for  programme.
