Training Overview & Requirements
- Duration: 5 days for novices; 1 day for renewals and recertification.
- Prerequisites: Minimum Grade 9 (NQF Level 1) literacy and numeracy. You generally need an active Code 10 (or higher) driver’s license.
- Curriculum: Covers OHS Act regulations, crane components, rigging, stability, pre-inspection, and hands-on maneuvering.
