- Duration: 5 to 14 days, depending on your prior experience.
- Theory vs. Practical: ~20% written examination and ~80% hands-on, practical operation (often in a simulator or simulated mining environment).

- Machine Orientation: Understanding the components (engine, articulation joints, bucket, hydraulics, and indicators).
