Tractor-Loader-Backhoe
A TLB (Tractor-Loader-Backhoe) is a highly versatile heavy machinery vehicle combining a front-end loader for scooping and moving materials, and a rear digging arm (backhoe) for excavation.
How It Works
- Tractor: The base chassis provides mobility and pulling power.
- Loader: The front-mounted hydraulic bucket is used to scoop, lift, and carry dirt, rubble, or building materials.
- Backhoe: The rear attachment features an articulated arm for precision digging, such as trenches and foundations.
Training and Operation- Operating a TLB requires specific training and certification (such as SAQA/CETA accreditation).
- Accredited courses are offered nationwide, teaching operators safety, site planning, and maneuvering
